Quebec Semi-Final Update

In the semi final, Team Bélisle beat Team Hamel 9-6.  Bélisle will now play Ross in the finals.  The turning point for this game was the 2 steals of 2 in ends 5 and 6.

Ontario Semi-Final Results

In the semi final, Auld beat Middaugh 10-4 in 8 ends.  Auld will now play Homan in the finals.  Even though Middaugh started off well with a beautiful triple raise takeout for 2 in the 3^rd , Middaugh couldn’t keep up that pace.  The turning point of the game was when Auld stole 2 in the 5^th end to make it 6-2.

Manitoba Poll Results

For the previous poll on who would win Manitoba, Jennifer Jones had 86% of the votes.  Overton-Clapham and Carey each had 7% of the votes.  I agree with the poll results.  Let's see if we are all right!

Alberta Playoffs Update

Sonnenberg beat Crocker by a wide margin, 10-3, in 8 ends.  Crocker will play Moore in the semis after beating Kleibrink 8-2.

Manitoba Playoffs Update

Jones will have a bye to the finals after defeating Kilgallen last night 11-2 in 8.  Kilgallen will meet Spencer in the semis.  Spencer earned her spot by beating Carey last night 8-5 in 9.   Jones is dominating right now.  Will Spencer or Kilgallen have what it takes to beat her in the finals. 

Saskatchewan Playoffs Update

Lawton beat Shumay last night by a final score of 5-4.  Lawton now gets a bye to the finals and will await the winner of the semi final game between Shumay and Holland, who beat Eberle 11-6 in 8 ends.  Holland had a long day yesterday.  Let's see if she can bring it again for the semis!
