My Day as a BC Junior Star

Thank you to Team Kelly Scott of BC for welcoming me as their Junior Star. First of all, the team was really nice.  I was a Junior Star with the skip of my Bantam team, Josh Henderson.  We got a chance to meet them and they gave us some gift bags.  That was very sweet.  Then we went out onto the ice and watched the Newfoundland & Labrador practice (who BC was playing).  Then BC’s coach, Brent Giles let us time Kelly Scott’s draws.  It paid off, because Kelly and her team got the hammer in the first end.   After leaving the ice, I gave Team Scott our clubs good luck card and some club pins.  We then were led out onto the ice to the sound of bagpipes.  When the announcer, Stu, called my name, it was so great and it felt awesome!  We then got some individual pictures after the game started.  We got a tour of the TSN booth and the TSN trucks.  That was so awesome and it was so cool to know all the work that goes into getting the broadcasts to your homes!

This is my favourite picture.  Thanks to Anil Mungal for taking this photo!

These are the pictures of the TSN booth inside and outside.

My friends from King's Town School were also there to support me and learn about curling.  Thanks to the Scotties for making this day possible.
